Immerse yourself in the mix of modern and ancient of this romantic apartment located in a house of the sixteenth century, renovated preserving the most significant elements: exposed beams, fireplace, arched ceiling. Here the light and good life reign supreme. CIR:013075-CNI-00302 Casa Barbagialla is a charming, cool and comfortable apartment, completely renovated. Conveniently located in the historic center of Como. It's absolutely quiet. It accommodates up to 4 people and a child. With 65 m2 total, on one floor, there is a bright living room with fully equipped kitchenette with electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and dining table with 6 chairs, a sofa bed for two comfortable people, a large full-HD screen TV with satellite TV, a romantic fireplace. Adjacent to the living-dining area is a bright double bedroom with a large closet. A bathroom with a toilet, bidet, bathtub with shower and velux roof window. Across the entrance to the apartment, before entering, there is a small closet with the washing machine. Stand-alone heating. Air conditioning and wi-fi internet complete the house's amenities. The entire apartment is available to our guests. In Como there is a tourist tax ranging from €0.50 to €1, depending on the season, per person per day, up to the fourth day of stay. This tax is not included in the cost of the rental and will be paid upon arrival. Children in a crib or crib are allowed free of charge. If needed, a lounger is available for €30/ stay. Pets are welcome. We ask for an additional contribution for the extra cleaning and care of €50/ dog x stay. The heating is self-contained and guests can set the desired temperature. During the cold season, the cost of heating is added at a flat rate of €10/ day. The Imbarcadero for boats on the lake is 5 thousand on foot. Casa Barbagialla is located in the pedestrian area of Como, in the historic center within the walls. It is the ideal location to visit the city, the lakefront, museums, enjoy restaurants, wine bars, bars, shopping. Everything is easily accessible on foot, walking a few minutes. The train stations, the lake navigation station, the pier, the funicular to Brunate, the bus station are all within walking distance. Paid parking is available in the area. Recently renovated apartment in the historic center of Cannobio, situated along the lake-front of Lago Maggiore, just a few meters from the water. The apartment is distributed over three levels, and includes two independent bedrooms (one with a balcony of its own), two baths, dining room with kitchen and fireplace, and a double-height living room with rustic beams, an elegant corner fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the lake. The apartment is fully furnished, with usual kitchen accessories, dish-washer, clothes-washer, vacuum cleaner, and TV with DVD/CD player. Upon request, sheets and towels may be furnished for a modest charge. Within meters begins a choice between numerous restaurants, trattorie, wine bars, and ice-cream shops. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, and a large street market every Sunday morning. Also within five minutes walk is the Embarcadero, where it is possible to take boat excursions to a variety of tourist attractions on Lago Maggiore, both in Italy and Switzerland. Cannobio’s nearby Lido offers sunbathing and swimming, with possibilities of various aquatic sports including courses for wind surf and sailing. Adjacent to the Lido are other non-aquatic sports opportunities such as tennis, volleyball, and rental of bicycles or scooters. 200 meters from the apartment begins the bicycle trail that follows the course of the river Canobino, up the valley to the Orrido di Sant’Anna. The mountains in the Cannobina Valley offer various possibilities for excursions, with a network of well-marked trails connecting rustic stone villages along the valley, and reaching Switzerland on the north and the Parco Nazionale della Valgrande on the south, which is a wilderness area with characteristic plants, animals, and historic memories. The house is called Casa Piccolo Nido, which means "little nest" in Italian. It's located in an historic nucleus with winding pathways and beautiful old homes.
