Places to Eat!
Nova Scotia has fresh and very tasty seafood! As well, the Halifax Donair is now the official food of NS, you won’t find these in other parts of Canada! And Haddock Fish & Chips is a slightly sweet, whitefish that we enjoy on this coast.
Other local tips, buying a lobster roll at McDonalds or Subway is NOT the best way to enjoy this East Coast bottom dweller. Buying your own lobster from Ryers to cook or ordering in a restaurant (Tom’s Lobster Shack, Rhubarb or the Finer Finer) is so much better tasting!

PLEASE STAY OFF THE DARK ROCKS. We lose at least on tourist a year to these areas where a rogue wave can surprise and pull a person into the Ocean. It is powerful and 95% who have been swept in do not make it back.
