also known as La Cuisine de Brigette is a hidden gem situated on the scenic coastal community of West Chezzetcook located on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. La Cuisine de Brigette is a small business offering the most amazing home cooking you could hope to find including a wide selection of freshly baked desserts, homemade sandwiches, soups and much more. Our famous dish would be traditional Acadian Fish Cakes and Beans and Acadian Rappie Pie. *We also offer catering for groups up to 27 onsite and offsite.

Donna Goldsworthy operates this unique tea room and does the majority of the cooking and baking herself, along with her wonderful staff. The 'homey cafe' is quite welcoming and bright with an Acadian decorating theme, right down to the colorful aprons the staff all wear. There is a vast array of homemade goods to buy on site as well. Local artists and crafters displays their art work on the walls that you are able to purchase as well as knitted tea cozies, slippers and homemade preserves.
