The jewel in Herring Cove's crown. The coffee is delicious, the people are friendly, the art is interesting, and there is DeeDee's homemade ice cream in the summer. Sit inside, take away or enjoy the patio on a sunny day. A 15 minute drive from here.

My favourite museum, all about ships, including the Titanic. And the waterfront is a great place for a stroll. If you feel like going on a boat, there are harbour cruises, or the ferry to Dartmouth is just $2.50 (exact change needed), and ask for a transfer as it's good for the return trip within 2 hours.
