The George Inn was once a 13th century monastery, today a Grade II listed, ivy-clad country pub restaurant beside the Kennet and Avon Canal in Bathampton, Somerset. It is perched by the water side with a large car park, can walk or cycle to and from the pub, in and out of Bath within 15 minutes or if you feel like a longer walk Bradford on Avon is in the other direction. However can be busy on a nice day if you planning on sitting indoors.
