Amazing south Indian and Sri Lankan food. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner there. Amazing, best Indian food I've ever had. It's right across the street! Try the chicken kothu roti and the curry shrimp with parata. Drink a masala chai tea with it.

Great Italian food, with a full gluten-free menu if that's your thing.

This place is very cool. It's in a basement near the corner of Bank and Sunnyside. It's got pinball, delicious perogies, and punk music at night. Kid friendly before 9pm. Open Wed-Sun at 5pm. I recommend the traditional perogies and the big sweetie for dessert. One of our favourite spots in the city. A bit hipster and grungey. 45 minute walk.

Walk along the canal on nice days. I recommend walking north to the Byward market, or south to the bank street bridge and then walking northward through the Glebe.
