Great classic country music all day & night in the front bar, great food (fried bologna sandwich anyone??), & really cool events in the back room. Check out the website for the band schedule for the front bar, list of events in the back room, or to check out the menu. Nashville-palace.com

Looking for a sports bar? This is it, especially is you route for Green Bay. The food is great (hot chicken is good here, too!) It is smoking at night, but the deck out back remains non-smoking and they often have live music in the evenings around the weekends.

This is my favorite place to grab lunch downtown. They are more of a to-go sort of place and only have a couple tables outside, but the food is great, healthy, and reasonably priced. Just a block and a half from the honky tonks. Break away from the burger and fries! Get you some really delicious soup and sandwiches!

Acme has a diverse scene. With several different floors, they really maximize their appeal to different audiences. On the first floor, they have southern food (meatloaf -Yum!), live bands, and bar. On the second floor they have a swanky bar area with comfy couches and chairs, and it's own menu of items, as well as an excellent sushi bar. If Nat is working, tell him I say hello, though I'm sure that he won't know who I am. Lol. The rooftop has a great view of the river, and they have varying events up there in the evenings. A great spot when the weather is gorgeous!

I've been on this, and it is a lot of fun! It is BYOB, but at least when I went on it, they didn't have a planned bathroom stop. This may have changed as it was a couple of years ago. Got a group? This is a very popular thing to do downtown. You drink and pedal your way around town. There is, of course, a sober driver, and a host to help with your good time! There are other types of tours as well, but this is probably the most popular. Other alternatives- Sprocket Rocket, there's one with a tractor I don't know the name of, and surely others that also escape me.
