Always a great place to go for a wander. Good walking tracks to the Summit Road, to the Sign of the Kiwi cafe or beyond. Good children's playground and picnic facilities. Nice little visitor information area also.

Great beach on a sunny day with a library, bars, grocery store and a ton of eateries only a walking distance away, with a ice cream truck basically right on the beach. Has quite a few shops there as well.
