We stayed at Cotton Tree and enjoyed the river walk to Ocean street. Had a drink at one of the sidewalk bars to enjoy the ambience. The cuisine was great - steaks, Japanese, Asian, pancakes, etc. Had a Texan sandwich which was succulent and perfectly seasoned. A local band started at 6 pm, and were great. A good activity for all the family.

This is a nice easy hike down to a waterfall and swimming area. If you are looking for a short outing in nature that isn't too far away this is it. You can start here at Quorn Close and walk down to the water fall or start at the bottom from Lindsay Rd and enjoy a boardwalk through the rainforest.

Great surf beach for swimming, surfing, paddle boarding and just hanging out on the beach. If the weather is right, this beach can be magical. Going to the beach just inside the river mouth is also great for smaller waves that are much more kid friendly
