Skinny J's looks like a regular bar and grill restaurant...and I guess they are, except that their food is great! They have a few cajun options on the menu (crawfish dip appetizer is one of my faves), a wonderful black and blue steak and blue cheese salad, big juicy burgers....everything I have tried here is just great. This is a family friendly place for lunch and dinner. I believe on some evenings they have bands scheduled.

A small "local" chain with unexpected menu options and flavors...try the pork carnitas! This is more of an upscale fastfood type of restaurant (think Panera Bread) but the food tastes fresh and flavorful.
And...they have a wonderful mission:
"Tacos4Life will donate the funds necessary to Feed My Starving Children to purchase one meal for every meal sold in the restaurant."

Breakfast and lunch only. I have not been so Sue's Kitchen yet for a meal but I have heard very good things about this restaurant. I did pick up some catered Thanksgiving side items from them and it was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant seems nice also.

Sightseeing
Yes, it's Bass Pro....BUT this location is at the 322 foot tall glass Pyramid. For $10 per person you can ride an elevator to the top and step outside on the viewing decks for some spectacular views, especially at sunset. There is a restaurant at the top also and you can use your elevator ticket for a small discount off the meal. In the Bass Pro store there is a fairly extensive Ducks Unlimited Waterfowling Heritage Center. This museum and educational exhibit is on the 2nd floor of the store.
Bass Pro at the Pyramid is located just across the Mississippi River - only an hour away from Jonesboro.
