The Edmonston-Alston home is one of the only historic battery homes that is open to the public, and is definitely worth the visit - even locals go here. The view of the ocean and the entire battery from the second floor veranda is worth it enough to pay the entrance fee.

Hampton Park is always full of people walking their dogs, running, having picnics, and playing frisbee. Complete with a giant pond full of turtles, there's a cafe overlooking the park where you can get an avocado toast and go for a walk or just lay out in the sun and read.
