Wood-fired thin-crust pizza, Sicilian style. The lunch special is a great deal: 9" pizza of your choice with salad of your choice for around $14--this special is enough for two if you are not big eaters. Our fav pizzas are the Stephanie, the Siciliana, the Funghi Selvatici, the Piero, and our fav salad is the beet and goat cheese.

Drinks & Nightlife

Live music most nights, with no cover charge. On Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings you will find 10-20 local musicians engaged in a genuine Irish session---not a performance, the actual traditional way of learning Irish music, as more experienced musicians share tunes with each other and with beginners. You'll hear fiddles, flutes, accordions, guitars, harps, whistles...you may even hear Nancy (yes, your host) on her Irish flute or harp!

The cool kids' brewery. :) Various beers brewed on the premises and available on tap. Interesting menu including 'vegan lox' and 'vegan mac-and-cheese' (seriously!) Sometime live music. Quite a lively and loud space; not the place for a quiet conversation!

Parks & Nature

Victoria Park has a lovely boardwalk along the shore and quiet paths through the woods. Also a kids' playground with water-sprinklers, a free outdoor pool, an ice-cream and hamburger shack (the old-fashioned kind), and free tennis courts. A jewel within walking distance of the Li'l Blue House.

Arts & Culture

Always several interesting exhibitions on the go here! Stop at Mavor's for a glass of wine in the sheltered courtyard too. Of course there is theatre and music in the evenings in the Homburg Theatre (mainstage) and "the Mack" (cabaret-style Mackenzie Theatre).
