In spring, the cherry blossom and field of daffodils are magnificent - a photo amongst the blooms is a tradition!

It is located on Akaroa Harbour, and you can take a cruise to look at or swim with dolphins. There are nice eateries, and beautiful scenery on the way over and in the township.
