Food Scene
I've included choices from casual restaurants where the locals frequent to fine dining options.
If you want to eat where the locals do, try La Choza restaurant and bar. Delicious New Mexican cuisine and great margaritas! It's a very popular spot, so reservations are highly recommended.

Hiking
At the Visitor Parking Lot of St. John's College is the trailhead for Atalaya. This trail starts out relatively flat and gets quite steep in places. It climbs up through the forest and you get amazing views of Santa Fe from several spots on the trail.
