This place is a bit pricy, and often crowded but has amazing food. It's the sister restaurant to Gjelina - one of the best restaurants in town!

Organic food, great coffee and nice outdoor seating. The back patio is my fav. The soup/salad combo is hard to spot on the menu, but it's my jam! Again, a bit pricey... but what isn't in LA

This hidden gem is my fav! A family owned European deli that flies in fresh meat/fish from the best places on earth. It also has a mini-mart for snacky things you can't get outside of Europe. Oh, and the owner Matt is the best!

Not sure what I love more, the food, the ambience or the service. Ok, yeah I do....it's the food! Amazing spices, un-beatable prices. Family owned - Tara is usually in house and super friendly. My fav dishes are the Okra and Oloo Ghobi

Great food. Great service. Live, causal music most nights. Typically strings (guitar, ukulele, etc). Also, there's a patio for hookah if that's your thing. Oh, and almost forgot it's BYOB

Two stories, this is a great spot when you want to do a little dancing, especially in the basement (mostly Thur-Sun). Don't get there too late or you'll have to wait in line. Lot's of fun!

One of the best places to have a drink while sitting outside and looking out at the ocean. There's Karaoke some nights (downstairs) but the upstairs patio is where it's at!

A great, iconic Hollywood music venue. Check their website to see who's performing - in LA there's always a chance you'll get to see your favorite band at a 500 capacity venue.

Think "house-party" mixed with sophistication. Really unique set up, with live music (some Tuesdays) ping pong/pool tables, fire pits, multiple bars...really rad space! Just don't arrive too late or you'll get stuck in a long line!

Go to Venice to walk the boardwalk, take in the culture, and maybe join the drum circle. Not really the beach to relax and soak up the sun. Folks are out selling art & playing music... it's a unique mix of "free-love" and vagabonds.

The park is situated entirely within the Los Angeles city limits and is considered “the world’s largest wildland within the boundaries of a major city.” You certainly won’t feel like you’re in a city when you hike through Topanga State Park. Enjoy ocean views from chaparral-covered ridges or relax in shaded oak groves.
Numerous trailheads for Topanga State Park can be found along the park edges. For those who want to drive into the park, Trippet Ranch is the main trailhead, offering hikes to Eagle Rock, a summit of Swiss-cheese-like sandstone and Parker Mesa Overlook, a bluff with breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean. To see another sandstone creation, head to Skull Rock. For a short

Red Rock Canyon Park is located in the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains off of Old Topanga Canyon Road. The riparian canyon walls are fortified with huge red sandstone outcroppings, reminiscent of Southwest canyons and gorges. Special rockland micro-habitats reside among the many beautiful red, tan and pale purple rocks and oak and sycamore trees at the bottom of the gorge. The park provides a key habitat linkage between Malibu Creek State Park and Topanga State Park. A small picnic area and drinking fountain are available at the trailhead. The trail leads up a fire road through slopes blanketed with toyon, laurel sumac, mountain mahogany, bush sunflowers, and ceanothus to Calabassas Peak
