Parks & Nature
The park has a fairly large beach area which is lifeguarded during the summer. There is a canteen and ice cream stand and I think they still have latin music later in the day on the weekends in the summer and people come to dance! There is a huge crazy playground being built nearby but right now the kids always seem to enjoy rolling down the big hill nearby..it is big! There are good change rooms and washrooms and bike paths all around. At one time in the summer, there is a beach volleyball competition and at another there is a dragon boat competition, both with concession stands and live music.
