Sightseeing
Baguio City started out as an American mining town in the early 20th Century, and one of its lasting attractions is Mines View Park. A ridge located at the extreme northeast side of the city, past The Mansion and Wright Park, Mines View Park boasts of a spectacular view of Benguet's gold and copper mines and the Cordillera mountains.
The main attractions in Mines View Park nowadays would be the commercial activities such as the souvenir and silverworks stores by the park.
Tourists also have a chance to get dressed in full Cordillera regalia -- bahag, shield and spear for the men, tapis for the ladies, vests and headdresses for both.

The majestic church located on top of a hill in the heart of the city, it is one of the more familiar icons and most visited landmarks of the city. One of the country's' most beautiful architectural structures and easily Baguio City's most magnificent building, richly-decorated inside, it stands majestically atop Mount Mary Hill, with a wonderful bird's-eye view of Session Road and the city's landscape.

Session Road is the main thoroughfare of Baguio City and its commercial center, with a variety of shops, stores and offices lining each side. Session Road is so named because it was the site of the Philippine Commission's first session. A lovely walk down from Luneta Hill toward the Baguio City Market, Session Road is where you will find department stores, bazaars, boutiques, old movie theaters, hotels, cafes and restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. A majority of banks operating in the Baguio City are found there, as well as various offices, drugstores, book stores and news stands.

Camp John Hay (CJH) is Baguio City's most popular visitor attraction. A beautiful resort in the mountains it features a world class competition Jack Niclaus-designed golf course as well as hotels, a shopping center & a convention center, among other attractions. Camp John Hay has a second entrance accessible via the Baguio Country Club road, which is closer to the other major tourist attractions of the City of Pines. This former rest & recreation facility for American soldiers in Asia is a tourist destination in itself. And yet Camp John Hay's charm remains the same with its pine tree-lined roads, beautiful landscapes, quaint cottages and wide open spaces. MUST VISIT!!!
