Food Scene
You cannot have a better view unless you were sitting in the surf. The fried shrimp is the best in town. It's casual and touristy but locals love the place, too.

Very funky place . . .unique with EXCELLENT food. Hard to find but make a sharp left as soon as you turn onto Calhoun Avenue and you'll find it. If you pass by some broken down trailers. . .you'll be in the right place.

This is for young (mostly) and old. If you like the bar scene with pretty good food, too, might want to check out the Red Bar. I love, love, love the old Florida look of this section of Santa Rosa Beach

Everything Else
The view off the Destin Bridge is probably one of the most beautiful place on earth. The white, white sand and the shallow, emerald waters are breathtaking. Within a 500 yard radius, one can see everything Destin is about. There is shopping, restaurants, the marina, the bars, the sailing club, dinner cruises. . . everything. East Pass is where alllll the fishing boats must enter to dock at the Destin Marina. All the amenities are great . . .but the view off the Bridge is to die for.

Essentials
This Publix is in Grand Boulevard. It usually not as crowded as some of the others in town. Also, it is near the laundry and dry cleaners. Winn Dixie @ Silver Sands is good, too.
