There's unique history to this lake too, in WWI minerals from this lake were used for manufacture ammunitions. If you're in the area this is a very cool phenomenon to see!

Paul was one of Kelowna's pioneers that built a tomb in the early 1900's for him and his family to rest upon their passing. This 2km trail leads to the tomb, but there's also a beautiful beach and swimming hole.
Access this trail at the end of Poplar Point Drive, or park your car at the first lookout point up Knox Mountain and go from there.

Access this trail at the end of Poplar Point Drive, or park your car at the first lookout point up Knox Mountain and go from there.
It's a short hike that leads to a nice view of the surrounding Kelowna area. If you're in the area check it out, but we wouldn't suggest you make this your main destination.
