Seattle is a city of first locations, this is the very first Costco store in the United States. It is like every other Costco, except a wandering tourist may need to stock up on jumbo size snacks orcontact lenses. But the reason I recommend it is because the center isle has discounted gift certificate cards from local favorites which may include Tom Douglas restaurants and Molly Moons ice cream, bargain entertainment tickets to AMC and Regal theaters and local events. Worth a visit if you are a Costco Member and need to pick up some items you could buy at Costco and to peruse the bargin gift certificate section. There is also a pharmacy at this location. If you are not a Costco Member, you can ask a Costco member to buy you a Costco Cash Card, and you can shop there with this card and not need a membership ID to enter the warehouse.
