The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (LVRT) is a 93 mile long trail that passes through 18 Vermont communities. The trail is maintained and able to be used year round, whether by bike, snowmobile, or walking/running. We are situated on section 1B of the trail, the section from Morrisville to Cambridge. Section 1B follows Rte 15 and the Lamoille River from Morrisville through Hyde Park and Johnson, terminating in Cambridge where it connects in to the Cambridge Greenway to Jeffersonville. Phase 1B stretches for 17 miles through bustling downtowns and serene landscapes. It offers spectacular views of the Green Mountains while exhibiting Vermont’s working farms and forests.
