Budget Friendly Eats
You don't have to sacrifice your taste buds for your budget in Capitol Hill, there are plenty of tasty budget friendly options : ) Also most of these are the spots that are open late (Jai Thai, Al Bacha, Rancho Bravo and Dick's)
My favorite Pho spot - delicious and priced right! Not much for atmosphere, more for a quick bite or order to go, they do a great job packing all the ingredients up individually.

Tasty Thai with a cozy intimate atmosphere and reasonable prices. Ask to sit in the back bar. You can't really go wrong with the menu but Pineapple fried rice is a fun choice (come in a pineapple :) They also have free amateur comedy several nights a week starting around 9-10pm in the back bar (which is hit or miss comedy wise since they are practicing but fun to check out :)

Delicious local Mexican fast food, open late. Wet and Cheesy Rancho Burrito and Horchata (Mexican style drink) never dissapoints (me)! Note that very late at night this place can attract some rowdy bar patrons since it is in the middle of Pike/Pine District so if someone seems to be a little off, stay away from them! I know this is weird advice but it is good advice haha.

Intimate and friendly southern church style bar...from the message board to the pews to the menu it's pretty cohesive and makes me smile :) The food is southern inspired and foodie, great for dinner or brunch. If you can sit at the bar, the waiters are a lot of fun and if you are feeling brave, order the Divine Intervention :)

Quaint little Ethiopian restaurant in a re-purposed old house. It's a fun experience with family style platters (also good for two people) with no silverware (you use the bread). I honestly can't tell what a lot of the food is when I'm looking at it but it is all so delicious haha :)
