While the cabin has everything needed to prepare a 7 course meal, the fact is, at times, I want someone to cook for me! These are just a few of my local hangouts for some great food and spirit's!
Homemade EVERYTHING.... unique eats, i.e., an incredible lobster pie, chucked full of fresh lobster meat! Reservations are recommended, to avoid a long wait. This place should not be missed.

Don't let the bar atmosphere fool you. This place has incredible homemade salad dressings, great appetizers and STEAKS. Tell Owner's Jim & JoAnn, Crazy Karey from Chicago recommended Howard's! Drinks on the outside patio are also great as you are seated next to one of the many creeks running through town.

In a hurry to feed the FAM, or just want someone to cook for you? Check out any of the Hungry Bear BBQ joints and take home your FAV BBQ. I like to pick up a few pounds of ribs, chicken, brisket, etc.. with all the sides. Bring it on back to the cabin and enjoy "The Q" sitting on the back deck with an ice cold brew! You know it's "good to go" as on my first visit, I inquired the hours of operation, and the gal behind the counter said "We are open until we run out of food"... now that's what I call a GREAT operator. Nothing is left over from yesterday and you'll be happy IF you do have left-overs in the fridge!
