Great place to learn about the history of Austin and Texas. There’s also an IMax Theatre that sometimes shows movies about the history, but also plays contemporary films.

It is housed in the former studio of sculptor Elisabet Ney and is dedicated to showcasing her life and works. There is a permanent collection of her portrait busts and personal memorabilia on display. She was an influential woman in Texas and so her story is pretty interesting.
