Scaly Mountain Outdoor Center is very close by (10-15 minutes away). They make snow, have tubing and ice skating. Call for hours and weather conditions for snow making. 828-526-3737. Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley is great for skiing, 828-926-0285.
