The Provand's Lordship is reputed to be the oldest house in Glasgow, (1471) when this was the centre of Glasgow, it's related to the Cathedral next door and would have housed representatives of the church. Mary Queen of Scots and Bonnie prince Charlie are said to have stayed here. The house consists of 3 floors with usually 4 rooms on each floor, the ceilings are low and the door ways lower adding to the olde world feeling. There is a small peaceful garden out back.
