Malibu
Malibu is a short beautiful drive from Camarillo. Once you leave town heading south to PCH you drive through verdant agriculture fields, giving way to wetlands, and ultimately the cliff line of the coast. The western portion of Malibu is still rugged and undeveloped while large estate homes become more prominent as you reach Pepperdine University and "down town" Malibu.
Heading to Malibu is a fantastic way to spend the day with sand surf and dining near Camarillo.

Geoffrey's is a fantastic place to have a fine dining experience overlooking the ocean in Malibu. The food and service are always impeccable and the view is to die for. Make sure to make a reservation and request a seat along the outside railing. The place is a bit pricey, but all things considered its a great value for Malibu and the location.

We love eating here when heading up or down the coast. It has a casual vibe and great food, and there's always lots of locals dining as well. I was even apologized to by Cindy Crawford when she accidentally bumped into me when she was passing by :)
