BEST place to purchase alcohol in the area. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Come in with a vague "I sort of want a red wine that's not too expensive but I don't know what I like," and leave with your new favorite bottle of wine.

In Downtown Iowa City you can walk to restaurants, shops, coffee, live music, yoga, art galleries...and lots more I can't think of at the moment, all in a 1 mile radius. The pedestrian mall is a car-free zone with brick-lined streets and beautiful trees.

Parks & Nature
Nestled in the middle of a neighborhood this large park is full of green space and huge trees for laying under. A small creek and man-made lake add the calmness of water. A playground on one side is not even audible from the other side of the park. A perfect place to sit outside and relax.
