Walking and Running route
We are a ten minute walk from the Riverwalk. Once you are on the riverwalk to you go for miles, and see herons, ducks, cranes, and more. It is a lovely spot for morning walks and runs.
Exit house and go left. At end of the street turn right. (Rio is directly ahead in about 5 minutes.) Turn left on St. Mary's for a short walk and immediate Right on Eagleland. Pass Brackenridge highschool and you will run into Riverwalk. If you go left, nature scenes. If you go Right, nature and urban hotspots including Blue Star and SAMA.
This is the highschool on Eagleland. Eagleland will take you directly to rio.

San Antonio is great for families. In addition to parks, many ice houses include play spaces and welcome kids. Yanaguana is by far and away our favorite spot with kids.
