Le Moque-Tortue is a gem of a bistro with a quaint terrace on Main. As well as amazing food, it has over 2000 board games, the second largest collection available to the public. It’s only 2 doors down from my place.

Shediac is a wonderful coastal town that comes alive in summer with festivals, warm beaches, great restaurants, local artists, a vibrant wharf, a marina, many historic homes and buildings, lots of walking and biking trails. There are electronic vehicle charging stations, the most in all of NB.
You can even take a guided walking tour of Shediac or a tasting tour with local young enthusiastic hosts. ExperienceShediac.ca

The shack is located behind the famous Giant Lobster, in one of the small boutiques. They have rentals and / or classes for paddle boarding or kayaking. This part of the ocean which flows upwards into the river is surrounded by trees and cottages and is the perfect quiet peaceful spot to paddle. A must see. :)
