10 min walk down the road from here, Metro 4 and 5 and lots of busses that connect you with the city center and bring you to e.g. a nice lake called Sognsvann or the forest in different directions.

Gruenerløkka is "the" district of Oslo, alternative, artsy, foody and fun. Markveien, Olav Ryess Plass and Birkelunden Plass are a nice walk any day. Stop at Chill Out for a fun outdoor store experience with good coffee and snacks.

Clossest mall where you find everything. We like to go there to get cheep groceries at the International Store outside the mall and then have e.g. a frozen yoghurt or a smoothie as a treat. Metro 4 and 5 both go there and some of the busses.

Very nice little beaches (e.g. Huk Beach), beautiful forest trails and lots of museums on Oslo's big Peninsula. Bus 30 drives you right to Huk beach and crosses the entire Peninsula with several stops. You can catch that bus e.g. from Oslo S although the faster route is always via Google Maps.

Beautiful lake to bathe, have a nice run (one round is 3.6 km) on even terrain, all kinds of forest trails that lead you to several cabins to have a waffle with coffee. Metro number 5's end stop is right by the lake.

Closest entrance to the forest from our place. You can walk there - probably 30 min from home. From there you have lots of hiking trails into the forest and to several cabins. Use DNT's app called UT.no to check all trails and find empty cabins or those who serve food.

The park with the nicest view over the Oslo Fjord and at the same time artsy (although it is weird, sexual, creepy art).
