Spend an afternoon on High Street taking in all that the Short North has to offer; art galleries, shops, coffee, dessert (Jeni's Ice Cream!), great restaurants, fun bars. If you happen to be in town on the first Saturday of the month, make sure you check out Gallery Hop!

Tommy's has been a Columbus staple since 1952, and I don't think the dine-in restaurant has been updated since. Trust us, this pizza is worth the 3 hour wait on a Friday. **Pro-tip, plan ahead on a Friday and order by 4:30 pm if you'd like to eat before 6. OR just get Tommy's on any day besides Friday for a normal 20 minute wait for your carryout.

Best Breakfasts and Brunches
Honestly, this is a secondary restaurant to the original HOE (Hang Over Easy) on OSU's campus. HOE was a staple for me during college because nothing cures your hangover in time to be Buckeye Bounce ready like HOEmade pancakes, HOE fries, and a black coffee. You can only imagine my excitement when I learned there was a HOE opening less than a mile from our house. Best diner breakfast in Columbus.

IT'S THE F-ING CATALINA WINE MIXER! Just kidding, Katalina's (with a K) on Pennsylvania Ave, and Katalina's, Too! on High Street, is a must for every brunch lover visiting Columbus. Try their stuffed pancake balls, they have pumpkin-apple butter filling for all you fall fanatics, or try my go-to favorite; Ms. Katalina's Migas. If you need some spice in your life don't be afraid to cry, I mean try, their sweet'n'spicy bacon.
