Transportation
Public transportation is nearly non-existent, including taxis and ride sharing services. You will need your own vehicle to get around. Make sure you check on the latest road closures and trail/trailhead closures due to weather and construction.

Mobile phone service
Cell phone service in our area can be spotty. The most reliable in our area is Verizon and its affiliates. You will have service in the center of Keene Valley and Lake Placid but, even with Verizon, be prepared for dead zones everywhere else.
