As authentic as you can get Mexican breakfast tacos, actual tacos, and full meals. Easily my favorite taqueria in Houston and within walking distance! Warning: there often is a line during the busy breakfast and lunch times and the place closes up early.

Easily one of my favorite pizza places in Houston. Every table has board games to play and is a great place to chill. Also, fyi, their chocolate chip cookies are pretty amazing!

One of the few places in Houston that hand prepares their own syrups! I'm not that fond of their desserts, but for flavored coffee and a bagel, not much beats Three Brothers! Anytime is usually a good time because it's quite large and accommodating.

It's downstairs is a little market that is not so budget friendly, but definitely super duper yummy. Upstairs, if the heat and the weather permit, you must sit outside to be treated to a truly beautiful view of Houston.

The longest trail through Houston, and, in fact, through any major city in Texas. The Buffalo Bayou trail goes from here all the way west to the outskirts of the city! A very fun place to bike and have a good run but still stay within the city.
