Really pretty with a nicely maintained walking trail by the water. Two waterfalls to see. Ball’s Falls has been maintained to its early mid 19th century industrial hamlet atmosphere featuring the original Ball family home, an operating flour mill, a lime kiln, a church, black smith shop, and carriage shed.

Head to the platform for a great view of the ships making their way up the canal through the locks. Museum is fantastic. Learn about the building of the locks and about the Underground Railway. Harriet Tubman lived in St Catharines while helping those make their way to freedom in Canada. The Lacrosse Hall of Fame is here and is really interesting as well. History of the game and you can try your hand at playing as well.
