Visit Lake Calhoun, or jump across to the quieter Lake of the Isles. There is a trail that goes around both lakes and is for biking / walking. If you're interested in biking, they have ones for 'rent' all over Minneapolis. There are two public beaches here as well. On one end of the lake there are paddle boards and boats for rent to take out on the water (no motorized boats allowed). There is also a pavilion that servers limited food and beverages. However, Uptown has plenty of restaurants with rooftop dining. I recommend Stella's, Moto i, or Chino Latino. Lots of shopping in this neighborhood as well! Also, if you're looking to go out at night, check out the rooftops of Uptown Tavern and Stella's. Also, Pourhouse and Williams.
