Food scene
The Shanty
3854 Post RdThe food is top notch. Can’t beat the lobster roll. Great beers, too.
My favorite beach
It is just beautiful. Waves, large grain sand, dunes, composting toilets, and views of Block Island, all on the opposite side of a barrier beach separating the Atlantic Ocean from Quonnie Pond.

A beautiful state park right on the water, with huge rocks for climbing and coves for exploring and swimming (be mindful of the tides!). There are trails filled with bunnies, a lighthouse and a tiny aquarium that never seems to be open.
