Italian restaurant, usually busy because the food is tasty and they have wood oven fired pizzas. They are licensed if you want to have alcohol with your meal. The boss Peter promised to look after you, ESPECIALLY if you mention Bryan's AirBnB in Lockleys when you order. It's a 15 minute walk around the outside of the golf course and prices are $18 to $22 for most meals on menu. You can also get takeaway and a menu is left in your room. Closed Sunday evening and Mondays.

Ramsgate Hotel

If you can get a table with a view over the ocean, it is very serene. Food is fairly good fare. It is pub food, comprehensive menu, caters to most food preferences, but with a little flare. ~10 minute drive along Henley beach road to get there.

Essentials
Low price supermarket. Not a huge selection of brands, but reasonable price for what's on offer. Bananas often cheap. Fruit sold in pre-packed boxes sometimes includes bad fruit but that is my experience with most supermarkets. Best to pick and pack your own fruit.

Another supermarket. Like nearby Aldi, the fruit and veg is acceptable, but pre-packaged offerings may be hiding bad fruit. It has a higher fraction of Italian and Greek foods, but most necessities are there also. The deli section at the back has some nice cheeses , fish and meats.

Parks & Nature
The girl guide hut is right next to the Linear Park. From here you can walk along it to the centre of Adelaide and even into the hills. Or you can walk to the beach, all along the river Torrens. It really is too grand a name to call it a river , it is more a rivulet. But it is cooling and shady along the Torrens and a pleasant walking or cycling trail. You will see various birds such as black swans, ducks, moor hens and colourful parrots as well as Rakali ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakali )
