Sightseeing
The beaches of Serra da Arrábida are extremely beautiful. You can get there by car or bus. In the high season cars can only go to Figueirinha beach. Then you can walk or take a bus.
If you are into running one thing that I love doing is: run to portinho da Arrábida. About 12km if I remember correctly. Then come back walking on the beach when the tide is low you can walk al the way to Figueirinha

Buses to Lisbon take 45 min. You can go via Ponte 25 de Abril (Finishes at Praça de Espanha. I like to get out at Alcântara-Mar if I am going to Cascais or Belem) or via Ponte Vasco da Gama (Finishes at Oriente, quite handy if you are going to the airport or the Aquarium) Always make sure that you take a Rápido bus.
