Getting around
Nosara is a place where you want to have a car. Public transportation is not really efficient.
I would recommend you to rent a car at the airport (or before) when you arrive. This way you can drive to Nosara and move around easier.

One term you should be familiar with is “Pura Vida” (pronounces poo-rah vee-dah). Costarricans use the phrase "pura vida" for everything, it's the core of our culture. We can compare it to "Aloha" in Hawaii. Simply translated, it means “simple life” or “pure life”, but here in Costa Rica, it is more than just a saying—it is a way of life.
