A great spot to walk downtown on California street, pop into the various local shops. My favorite coffee shop in the area, Good Bean, is located on Oregon St. (same coffee we provide in our Airbnb!). A quaint, tiny town with plenty of charm and good eats. Some of our faves: Schoolhaus Brewhouse, Back Porch Bar & Grill, Umi Sushi and Ganjes ice cream & candy shop. Jacksonville is also home to the Britt Festival that takes place each summer.

Ashland’s downtown buzz of food, Shakespeare festival, Lithia Park and quaint shops to visit make it a must see when you’re in the area! For food we love Flip, Martolli’s, Hearsay’s and Taj Indian Cuisine. Mix Bakeshop is great for coffee or a sweet/savory treat break from shopping. My fave shops are Papaya Living, Paddington Station, and Bloomsbury Books - but downtown is filled with cute shops, so definitely explore! Lithia Park is a beautiful place to walk the paths, have a picnic, or take your coffee or treat and relax on one of the benches overlooking one of the ponds.
