This place is a Flagstaff institution and very much embodies the funky free spirited Flagstaff people. The coffee is fabulous and I highly recommend trying a pastry ... or two.

A great place to enjoy the sights of downtown. On a summer night you can sit out on the patio and watch the trains go by. For those that want to stay up late they have line dancing on Saturday Nights. Good food and Great Beer!

A great menu and a wonderful location in an old house downtown. In the summer you can sit out on the patio and during cooler seasons it's nice and warm inside. This is probably a better place for adults.

This really is a great option year round. It is our ski area from November to May of each year and outside of ski season it has a scenic chair lift and activities for kids and families. There are many spots to pull over off snow bowl road and hike.

Lake Mary is the biggest lake but there are lots of roads that lead to smaller lakes off of Lake Mary road. If you go toward dusk or dawn you will often see large herds of elk coming out to get water.

The Grand Canyon train leaves from here. This is a great options for families. The train takes about 2 hours to get to the canyon and you will learn lots of interesting things about the area and maybe get to meet a cowboy or see a gun fight or two along the way. During the holidays the train becomes the Polar express which is also a fun family activity.
