Hikes
Ask us about these if you are not certain and please remember that we live in an area with an abundance of wild life, including black bears. It is also good practice to let someone (like us) know if you are headed out on a hike so in case of emergency help know where to look for you.

You can access the trails to this park even from our house. We hike this area frequently and would be happy to help you come up with a plan. You can even leave our house, hike for 1 hour and get to Persephone's Brewery! These trails are also great for biking. The official start of the park is at the top of the bypass about 2 km straight up from Langdale Ferry terminal.

This is a gorgeous park with lots of trail options and it is relatively flat compared to most of our other hikes on the Coast.

This beach is walking distance from our home. It has a pier, a sandy beach and a flat walk way to walk the length of the beach and back.

This is one of our favourite beaches. You must follow a trail through the woods to get down to the beach. It is covered in small smooth rocks and also offers great tidal pools to check out marine life.
