Tierra Mia has excellent coffee. I recommend the "Cafe Corazon" iced Frappe. It isn't on the regular menu, but they'll still make it for you! It is a bit sweet, like an ice cream treat. Their traditional coffee selection is great as well.

A local Thai restaurant within walking distance. The pad thai, yellow curry, and papaya salad are my personal favorites. Choose your level of spice, but be warned, it can get pretty hot!

Only open on Sundays! This "cottage bakery" has the best bread in the Southland. If you happen to be in town on a Sunday morning, give it a try. The nearby Rose Park Roasters is great second-stop if you'd like to enjoy your baked goods with a fancy coffee.

It's hip, it's cool, it's fresh. If you've got to get some laptop-work-time in, there is no better place.

Naples is a neighborhood fashioned after Italian style canals. It is a great place for a relaxing or romantic walk. The lights around the holiday season get pretty extravagant.

The Queen Mary is an historic Long Beach tourism staple. I usually go a couple times a year. The admission, I believe, is free if you let them know that you are going up to the art deco "Observation Bar" for food and drinks.
