If you have the time, we recommend walking along the riverfront up to the CPR Bridge, which is ~4km from our house. The bridge itself is a wooden train bridge, with a pedestrian walkway alongside the train tracks. In the spring and summer you can see White pelicans at the Weir, and on the other side of the bridge is the University of Saskatchewan grounds, with more trails and a sculpture garden.
