Food Scene
A comfy, friendly, cool local spot, and not just because my nephew Gabe tends bar there on the weekends! They plate some amazing food in small plate style. Try the meatballs and all the pastas.

Tim and Danny run this most excellent local coffee shop from 7am to 7pm all week. A lot of local music dance theater and art scene folk hang out here. You will always hear great music here. They are serious about coffee, too.

Parks & Nature
Volunteer Park is a fantastic city park, with iconic views of the Space Needle and Puget Sound, and the awesome round red brick water tower, where, if you are up for a spiraling climb to the top, you will be rewarded with a (free!) 360 view of all of the region that is better than the Space Needle view. Also this park is the home of summer festivals, a beautiful Conservatory, and the Seattle Asian Art Museum.

Arts & Culture
Check out a play at this sweet spot, with a studio and larger theater. There are always two plays going here every week, with happening bars on either side of the theater complex. Great way to spend an evening in Seattle!

My gym, downtown at 7th and Stewart. Great space with friendly folk. They offer daily fees if you are in town for a short time and want a place to dance, do yoga, crossfit, sprints, weights, and a killer sauna and showers.
