Dauphin Island is our closest beach. It is very low key... not a ton to do, but very private. The West End Beach is our favorite. In the summer, they do a lot of movies at the beach, and it is a great time for the whole family. There is also a ferry from Dauphin Island that goes to Fort Morgan which is just a short drive from Orange Beach and Orange Beach is a much more touristy beach. The ferry ride is a fun experience as well.

Orange Beach is one of Alabama’s best beaches. It is a little more of a drive, but the beaches are beautiful, and there is a lot to do in the area.

This is our favorite beach. It is about an hour and a half away, but the sand is much whiter, and the water is more clear and blue. It's worth the drive if you have the time. We love Florida beaches!
