Easy to get to, this is a great sunset viewing location.
This park is close to downtown and if you’re willing to hike uphill for a good bit the view of the town nestled in the valley is worth it. Otherwise, walking around the loop trails is also very nice and one of my favorite places to go.

An hour away and a fairly short hike up an old Jeep road, or a bit of a longer hike on the Appalachian Trail, the view from this fire tower is outstanding.
