Hyde Perk is just over a mile away from our house and a great place to get coffee. Not only that, but they also have beer, wine, kombucha, and food (growler fills available). The vibe is awesome and everything we have had there is delicious!

My all time favorite place for breakfast/brunch! Everything is fresh and has big portions (most items can be shared between 2 people). Don't let the long line scare you, it moves fast :-)

Yum! We are from Georgia and love this restaurant that is scratch-made southern food. They have a great happy hour with 75 cent martini's every week day until 4:00pm. Some of our other favorite menu items are fried pickles, roasted chicken, and butter green beans. Their location is right downtown on 8th St. in the hub of Boise.

Payette Brewing is an all around great place that has a nice outdoor space, food trucks, activities, and is family friendly. One of my favorite things about Payette is that it is right on the Greenbelt and river.

This is within walking distance of the RV and has live music every Wednesday night. Many food choices with awesome french fries, rotating beer taps, and a comfortable/cozy vibe. Also great to pair after a hike in the Hillside to Hollow Reserve right next door!

45 minutes from our place is Idaho's wine country. Our favorite winery is Koenig. They have free wine tastings and reasonably priced bottles. We also think it is one of the wineries with the best view! Other wineries we recommend are Williamson ($5 tasting), Fujishin (free tasting), and Sawtooth.

Stack Rock is probably my favorite hike in Boise. It is up Bogus Basin Rd that we live off of and gives you a wonderful overview of everything Boise has to offer. You get everything from forest to desert and beautiful views all along the way.
This hike is moderate at just over 8 miles and 1,500 feet in elevation gain, however it is not accessible in the winter due to being on the mountain in higher elevation.

If you are interested in visiting a natural hot spring in the wild we would recommend Kirkham. It is easily accessible from the road and about an hour and a half away. On your way up you will pass through Idaho City where we love to stop at Trudy's Kitchen and have a piece of home made pie on the way home! It is also a beautiful drive to get up there.

We have a recommendation listed if you are interested in a hot spring that is in the wild, but this is our favorite developed hot spring. They have taken natural hot spring water and captured them into a pool like environment. You are also able to order drinks and food here, poolside! The Springs is an hour from our house and also offers private pools for 2 in addition to the general one. If you are bringing kids be sure to check their website because some days just for 18+.

Be nice, you're in Boise
There is a reason Boise has the saying "Be nice, you're in Boise". We have a very friendly culture here and ask that you slow down a bit, enjoy yourself, being nice and respectful to others along the way.
