Ways to save
Eating at home vs restaurants
The norwegian "mattilsynet" is very strict so there's a 99% chance that you won't get sick from eating food from the groceries or restaurants. Although restaurants are nice, they are quite expensive.
I would recommend mixing unusual/fancy restaurants in Oslo with eating at home - buying groceries at Kiwi/Meny.
Kiwi is the cheapest option and Meny has the most variety. They both have the same "first price" brand, which is often as good as other brands but saves you a lot of money.
Getting around
Getting around
Google maps is usually reliable, so I just use that.
The 31 bus goes back and forth from Fornebu very often, as well as in the night (please double check).
For smaller commutes around Fornebu there are mainly Tier electric scooters and electric bikes. Just use the app with the same name to use them.
